The challenge
Each offline product had grown its own activation logic. That does not scale, and every new product ends up re-solving the same problem badly.
What we built
A single control plane that issues activation codes, signs offline-verifiable licences with RSA, hosts releases and lets any product phone home for revocation. Licences are product-scoped, so one service covers the whole range.
Where it stands
Every desktop product we ship now licenses through one place instead of its own.
