Athan Everywhere asks for as little as an app can. There is no account, no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking of any kind. This page explains exactly what the app touches and why.

What we collect about you
Nothing that identifies you. The app has no sign-up and no account, so it never asks for your name, email address, phone number or contacts, and it does not build a profile of you.
Location
Prayer times and the Qibla direction depend on where you are, so the app uses your device location to calculate them. When you are online, your coordinates are sent to the Aladhan prayer-time service to obtain accurate times for your position. When you are offline, the calculation happens on your device and your location never leaves it. Your location is not linked to your identity, is not used for advertising or tracking, and is not shared with anyone other than that prayer-time service.
Notifications
Athan alerts and prayer reminders are generated on your device by iOS. They are not sent through a server, which means we do not know when or whether you receive them.
What is stored on your device
Your prayer schedule, your last known location and your settings are saved locally so the app keeps working without a connection. This data stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Advertising, analytics and tracking
There are none. The app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no tracking technologies, so there is no advertising identifier to share and nothing to opt out of.
Third-party services
The only external service the app contacts is the Aladhan prayer-time API, and only to convert coordinates into prayer times. No other data is sent with that request.
Children's privacy
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes what it collects, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
